Gidday!  Today has been wet and raining.  We had news this morning, last night I went for a walk to the pond, and then watched TV.  Today we had fish and chips.  We were supposed to go to Halswell Quarry,  but it was raining, I was happy to have lunch back at school with my friends.  I had a sausage and 1/2 a scoop of chips.  Alan and I worked on my project this afternoon about the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula.  I learnt they eat grasshoppers, crickets, cicadas, frogs, toads, catepillars, lizards, bats, and small snakes... Gosh they eat a lot!!

Today I have worked with Simon.  We researched the black widow spider on google.  A black widow spider eats mice, frogs, grasshoppers, caterpillars, cicadas and beetles.  This afternoon I am working with Jacinta to create this blog.  This morning I also looked up Mark Skaife.  Mark Skaife is my all time hero.  I admire him because he has had 217 race and 40 wins and 83 podium finishes. I met him twice this year at Hamilton 400.  I met him when I was 13 at Pukekohe.  I like him a lot.  He had another win last Sunday at Philip Island.  I was so happy I nearly bounced off my chair.
